Believe it or not I rarely see a cake cutting in person or even the couple enjoying their cake. Unlike most vendors in a wedding , the cake designer delivers a cake behind the scenes , and disappears before the guests arrive. So the last time I see the cake, it’s completely finished and perfectly staged where it was intended to be. However as much as I like the perfect memory of the finished cake, it must get destroyed to be savoured and it’s probably best that most cake designers are not their to see their works of art cut into. Cake knives just might go mysteriously missing if we were to attend. I’m just kidding.

I really do enjoy seeing the candid moments of the cake cutting and loved how Lisa and Greg’s fun and colorful personalities were captured enjoying their pumpkin wedding cake at the Capitol Event Theatre .
