You have to hand it to Wedluxe magazine for being ahead on the trends each time. I was asked to design this royal sapphire wedding cake BEFORE the royal engagement even happened. So for the design I did sculpted ruched sapphire blue fondant tiers with hundreds of edible bead added and then topped with a golden edible crown. I wanted it to be bejeweled and fit for a princess.
