Back in April a super lovely couple Nicolle and Ian said their I do’s in an Art Deco style in downtown Toronto. When I first met Nicole to design her sweet table she expressed that liked the dessert to be simple and let food be naturally presented – this brought me back to the day of working on pastries and I was excited for it. So for the sweet table we did a trio of towers (macaroons, chocolate truffles, and croquembouche -cream puffs) , Strawberry shortcakes in chocolate dishes, chocolate smore cupcakes, mini lemon meringue pies, and my personal favorite from England - banoffee (banana toffee pies). We let the ingredients and flavors speak for itself and from what I heard it was a hit!
