As I mentioned before, back in December I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Dubai, UAE to create a wedding cake. I worked with the talented and kind ladies behind one of Dubai’s top wedding planning company, Carousel of Life . I also had the pleasure of teaming up with the fabulous cupcake bakery, Sweet Stuff Dubai , who welcomed me into their bakery and assisted in the production of this wedding cake. I’m happy to finally reveal the cake I travelled half way around the world for. For the design we had rich colors to work with , Orange, red and gold. The ladies at Carousel were so accommodating when I came to Dubai and even took me to the florist’s shop to see what was in store for the centerpieces. I tried my best to match the rich bright hues of the flowers in sugar and also created manzanita branches in sugar with a pair of sugar love birds. When delivering the cake to the outdoor reception, I knew I had done my job right because the cake fit beautifully with enchanting decor.

Filmtography did a great job documenting the wedding in both cinema and photography. I rarely get to see the couple enjoy the wedding cake so this was treat.
